A real fight

Nancy Burpee is a world class paralympic swimmer. She was presented by Simmons, Jannace & Stagg in her participation to 2004 Paralympic Games held in Athens, Greece. Ms Burpee was misfortunate to not get selected in United States Paralympic team in United States Olympic trials even though she has set world records in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle trails held at Minneapolis and Minnesota. Australian referee disqualified her on procedural technicality. To fight her case against the disqualification Ms Burpee called Kevin P. Simmons, a partner at simmons jannace & stagg . Ms Burpee reqested the firm to intiate a case against United States Olympic Committee which will force United states Olympic Committee to name her for Olympic team. The firm started the case under the United States Olympic Committee Rules and took live testimonies from referees in Canada and Australia. Simmons, Jannace & Stagg presented the various comments made by Australian referee which shows the bias against Ms Burpee and desire of coach to not select her. Simmons, Jannace & Stagg was able to convince that the United States Paralympic swim trials were not held with in paralympic rules. All the efforts of Simmons, Jannace & Stagg gone in vain when an independent arbitrator ruled against her and declined to interfere in this matter. However Ms Burpee is not discouraged by this decision and decided to continue her swimming career and will fight in next year olumpics.
